Saw this film today with Mr. Mo, Blondie, and Mr. Blondie.
And I hate to have to say this, but....
PARENTS!!!!
Do NOT take your small children to see this movie, like some did seated behind us. It's rated PG-13 for a reason. The innocent questions the little 'uns asked just had us shaking our heads, wondering what the hell Mommy and Daddy were going to say to explain it - - and if they spoke the truth, how to avoid nightmares in the days to come.
And even if you take your young teenage kids, be prepared to answer their questions.
Please do your homework. But not too much, because that would be a spoiler.
All of that said....
This was an incredibly powerful film. Wonderful acting, direction, musical score (James Horner). It has Oscar written all over it.
Well. It should, anyway.
